I am continuing the "snail mail" as response to e-mail has not been good. Apparently, some of you forget it if it is not handled instantly.

Dues are due! Please send your membership form and check now. If you procrastinate it will cost you another $50. Please send $175 if you do it now. Lets try to get EVERYONE to pay the regular rate. The form is enclosed.

NOTICE

Our annual meeting will be in Sacramento, California May 5-7, hosted by University of California, Veterinary Genetics laboratory. Details are on the web. PLEASE NOTE the program will go through the evening of May 7. Departure should not be planned until May 8. Our session will be two FULL days with a Recognition Banquet the night of the 97th for our Honorees. Please note this in your calendars and schedule accordingly. We certainly don’t want our award recipients to feel that no one cares.

This year’s program will be centered on “ New Technologies/Reflections”. We will have member panels on Association Governance, Former Breed Executives on “What I would Do Again, speakers on Intellectual Property, Emerging Technologies from a Genetic Perspective”: “In Support of Animal Agriculture, and a Keynote speaker. We will tour the UC Davis Veterinary Genetics Laboratory. Dinner on Tuesday evening May 6 at a Mystery Theater and the Recognition Banquet Wednesday evening.

Two FULL days! Please schedule your stay through the night of the 7th. Registration forms will come at a later date or check the web and send them now.
